B.A. in Visual and Public Art

Integrates individual production and collaborative processes, skills and projects, and the expressive and analytical. Addresses issues of working in public space creating murals, sculptures, installations, book arts, painted and electronic billboards, light sculptures, large-scale digital and cyber art, time-based work, performance and environmental art, and public ceremonial works. Balance of studio and theory through a combination of core concept and skill courses, visiting artist experiences, independent learning opportunities and a community-based projects/service learning component.
