Integrates individual production and collaborative processes; skills and projects; the expressive and analytical. Addresses issues of working in public space creating murals, sculptures, installations, book arts, painted and electronic billboards, light sculptures, large-scale digital and cyber art, performance and environmental art and time-based and public ceremonial works. Balance of studio and theory through a combination of core concept and skill courses, visiting artist experiences, independent learning opportunities and a community-based projects/service learning component.
