Does anyone have any experience or information on doing a small scale environmental project? I am the President of a small arts organization in a rural, upstate NY community with an exceptionally pristine landscape. It is one of the few places where the land itself is listed on the National Register of Historic places. We would like to involve the community in an environmental project celebrating this special place. Any experience or information you may have in this area, either creatively or organizationally, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Jane

Check out this website for a wonderful program that imlements community arts programming to celebrate the local environment: http://www.procession.org/
The project has been replicated all over the world, so it might be an option for your area.
