« Online 6/23/09: Navigating the Blogosphere for Effective Communications | Main | Mark Rothko and his sense of place » June 23, 2009 Special opportunity for women at the Bauen CampLinda Frye Burnham / 12:55 PM Forwarded from Jessica Holt, director of the the Bauen Camp, an innovative art-for-change summer camp in Wyoming: We have room to sleep 6 people in the staff lofts very easily - some years we have had 8 in them, housing our interns and fellows and cook. This year we have only two men - Cook Thom Caraway and Counselor-in-Training Nestor Martino Ofrom Bostons AFH) on the male side, with none on the female side. It would be wonderful to make better use of the facility -the lofts- and to share the skills and experience of our staff and the exuberance that is evident with all these wonderful people around.. If you know of female adult(s) who might like to join us for the session, july 30 through august 10, have them contact me. They could participate in all the programming, observe, identify best practices, etc like our fellows do. They could also help me (I am no longer a spring chicken!), help with with programming. Cost to them would be their transportation and camp fee of $350. Bauen would provide room and board. Just a passing thought. We are still seeking two Education Fellows from Johnson Junior High/teachers that their Cheyenne Rotary Club has funded. If we are successful, that would make two less spaces. Whichever comes first is dandy. Jessica Holt jholt@wbaccess.net The Bauen Camp: http://www.thebauencamp.com CommentsPost a comment Thanks for signing in, . Now you can comment.
