Check out Intemedia Arts’ three artist opportunities below!
Please forward these opportunities widely to any artists you know that may be interested, if possible. More information and applications are available on our website www.intermediaarts.org.

1. 2009 SASE/Jerome Grants for Emerging Writers
Deadline: Monday, November 10, 2008 • 5 pm
Applications are now available for the 2009 SASE/Jerome Grants for Emerging Writers, which awards grants of up to $5,000 to emerging Minnesota writers!
An informational meeting will be held at Intermedia Arts at 7pm on Thursday, October 30, 2008.

2. 2009 VERVE Grants for Spoken Word Artists
Deadline: Monday, December 8, 2008 • 5 pm
Each year, VERVE grants of up to $3,000 are awarded to emerging Minnesota spoken word poets. The VERVE grant program is designed for emerging artists who are ready to achieve their next level of artistic success, and who are interested in developing their abilities to become artistic leaders in their communities.

3. Call for Applications: Naked Stages 2009
Deadline: Friday, December 12, 2008 • 5 pm
Naked Stages is designed to give Minnesota artists a supportive environment for building their performance and production skills while creating an original performance art piece. The nine-month program includes workshop opportunities in performance, production, marketing and critical response skills, culminating in a series of public performances in either October or November, 2009.
An informational meeting for applicants will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 1:30pm at Intermedia Arts.
Naked Stages is generously funded by the Jerome Foundation in recognition of the valuable contributions that artists make to society.

For more information and to download an application for any of the above mentioned artist opportunites, please visit the Intermedia Web site.
